The restaurant opens at 9:30 am for breakfast and goes until 11:00 am as per their online posted hours.

No there is no other way. You can save time by arriving before the store opens. Returns are always very time consuming because IKEA has only two counters to deal with returns.
What is the charge for assembling furnitur
It costs a family member if you do it your self. And it costs 430$ if you get ikea to do it. They go through 3-4 employees before they finish it. The first few employees quit their job after couple hours

You will find rush on weekends. Try to go in weekdays. We went there around 3 to 4pm and we didn't wait in the line for too long. Infact the line was keep moving. Hope it will helps!
is there a long line to get into the store？
Even when there is a long line, it moves pretty quickly. It was about a 10min wait to get in when it was lined up halfway through their fencing. Checkout itself was about half an hour? No worse than any of their massive sale days, though.
